A view over the river

After the excitement yesterday, we had a slow start, then made our way to The Royal Burnham Yacht Club for drinks with the immediate family and friends of the bride and groom.  We said goodbye to Z, to my brother and his family, and wished L & L a lovely honeymoon in South America. 

Then we returned to our apartment for a late lunch and a lazy afternoon.

Eventually I stirred myself and suggested a short walk towards the river.  We met ArcLight and Mr A, who had had the same thought a little earlier, and arranged to meet for dinner, a rather pleasant meal at a restaurant in Burnham.

Now anticipating an early night.
