Moth - Nettled

Ollie dog and I negotiate a tract of nettles, thistles and burdock every time we beat the bounds of our property. She follows me, nudging between my legs and the back of my knees, not wanting to take it on the nose. Beautiful light-coloured moths fly up but soon settle back under the nettle leaves, impossible to photograph. I tried today and got stung on the bottom. I can't see this moth properly so it might be one of the waves or maybe a mother of pearl moth.

Butterflies were nectaring on brambles on the west side of Butterfly Alley so I had to capture them in silhouette. (Extras)
