Brown Bear

Reminding me of a brown bear this peacock butterfly looked on the face of it quite uninteresting till it opened it's wings then POW what stunning colours.

I've had no butterflies at all hardly this year in my garden which is quite a worrying scenario but at least this evening two absolutely gorgeous peacocks posed whilst sipping the nectar.

It's been such a full on day yet again in the house and garden that it was all I could do to lift the camera without shake but I'm getting there! I banished the thoughts I could be shooting in the glorious sunshine round some random lake at dragons ...yes I did.....well a bit ...
