Le Grand Tour de Bretagne - Jour 13

Carnac Night Market, Brittany

A surprisingly grey and damp start to the day, but the rain was gone by 9am and by the afternoon the blue skies were back, and the temperature had risen to 22 degrees.

First stop of the day: back to Pont Aven for the Brocante fair down by the river port. Disappointing, between us we only bought one glass! (extra 1)

Second stop of the day: Quimperlé for a coffee stop and a stroll through the old town quarter (extra 2)

Third stop of the day: Carnac, our camp for the night in an Aire in the centre of the village. An afternoon visit to the church was followed by an evening visit to the night market where all the locals turned out for folk dancing in the village square, and we ate crêpes and drank local cider! (extra 3)

(Second backblip posted today, day 12 posted earlier if you should care to take a look. At gone 10pm, it’s finally cooled down to 25 degrees, after a scorcher of a day, 41 degrees!)
