Tate

Another glorious day in St Ives, and we chose to visit the Tate St Ives.  This branch of the Tate Gallery specialises in modern art, with a heavy concentration (naturally) on local artists, including Barbara Hepworth (whose museum we visited a couple of days ago).  This piece is in one of the hallways set against a block glass wall, which shows off the shape very well.

The design of the building itself is very interesting - lots of circular areas and windows seen through windows.  The views over the rooftops of St Ives from the top floor cafe are worth seeing as well.

We enjoyed a hot traditional Cornish Pasty this evening, sitting by the harbourside, followed by a drink in a nearby pub where we discussed the issues of Brexit with a young Dutch couple who are on holiday here.

Another good day.

(Another back blip now that I am back in the land of decent internet.)
