Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

A day deconstructed

We went to London and swanned around Borough Market. Bought all sorts of crap including an expensive bottle of rose wine vinegar and some vegan orange hazelnut brittle. Not bad for a working class lad whose parents both left school at the age of fourteen. It was muggy but not hot and I avoided yesterday’s exhaustion traumas.

Still find something different every time I go to London. Backstreets between Guy’s Hospital and Borough today. So interesting and beautiful. Go large on this shot and really focus on the different reflections in the glass.

The extra is Mystic Em sampling the brittle. As you can see her verdict was eagerly awaited.

We had very late lunch in Tibits and rather over-indulged ourselves. They were on good form today. Particularly the creamy seitan and pepper casserole, and the vegan massaman curry.

The Dizzle and Mystic Em went off to the west end for shopping and we did a bit of book browsing and wine drinking before heading home. Good day.

Might have a domestic weekend given that it is supposed to be raining for the next 48 hours.
