Succory

I've noticed lots of wild chicory (or succory) growing in the field margins this year. Seen close up the flowers are an interesting design,each of the outer petals is actually comprised of five fused petals.  The anther tubes are square in cross-section with rather natty blue trim and the styles are split into two.
