Frazzled and Befuddled

A day of much, much-needed rain.  This dahlia fully opened this morning and looks as though it came out of the car wash.  I'm not sure this is how it is really supposed to look, but I doubt she'll straighten out her curls in the coming days.

AW load, loads better.  He is being careful but doesn't want to end up as a sissy on the couch, understandably so.  Can't wait now for the rain to be really over so that he can get back to his gardening.  Even without his aid, though, it's beginning to look more like a mini-jungle.

Some genealogy research, some supermarket errands, a lot of napping.
