A Calico Pennant

Dear Diary,

This little Calico Pennant was such a patient model for me.  He sat still for the longest time and even turned right and left so I could get different sides.  I adore my dragonflies but these little ones seem, to me, to have a sweet smile and those transparent wings are so stunning.

Today will be horrendously hot and humid again but only for today.  Some relief tomorrow and some thunderstorms too.  Horatio is out there as I write this having breakfast.  He'll have to munch quickly as Brandon will be here to mow soon!
