Rainy Day

This time last week, it was Day 1 of a three-day heatwave which had me wondering if the UK is really a good destination for a summer holiday. Thankfully this week has been much more manageable, and today, the temperature barely went over 20degC. YES! It has also rained steadily through the day, sometimes heavily, sometimes the sun came out. It's all good! :)

G & I went into Guildford to check out a few things. The dining table at the Lodge is just about standing up, and the light in the walk-in closet still needs to be fixed. Fortunately, there is a superstore park here with stores within walking distance of each other so it made it easy to look at things in between showers.

Tesco was the last destination before we got home. It was so cool, G made sweet corn and chicken soup! We are now forecast to have heavy rain through the night, so hopefully, we don't get flooded!
