Tiny Tuesday ....

.... young chipmunk.

I have just started seeing this what I suspect to be a very young chippy in our yard.  He is not as brave towards me as some of the others have been.

But I'm working on that!

We had FOUR of our monarch cats move to the top of the enclosure this evening and assume the J-hook position.  They should all pupate in the morning ... probably within hours of each other. And that means they will probably also emerge on the same day!  That gives us six chrysalises in the enclosure plus more cats .... I have ordered another as I don't want this one to get overcrowded.

Today was miserably HOT .... the high was 94° F!  Hopefully the next few days will see lower temps!
