Christopher Street Day in Berlin

Oli texted in the morning to let us know that we would meet at a restaurant for lunch, breakfast before we would go to the CSD parade.

We met him and Katja there at 1 pm. It was a Russian Place with an extensive, but expensive menu. We were not too impressed in the end ...

Around 2 pm we were in position for the parade, which had some issues at the beginning, as it continuously stopped.
However, it was a lot of fun and there were a lot of dressed up people to admire and photograph.

It was sunny and hot.

The parade took until 7 pm to be though and we really needed a seat and a refreshment after that and went to Oli and Katja’s favourite Cocktail Bar at Nollendorf Platz.
We had very tasty cocktails before we said good bye and went back to our Kiez.

At Bergmannstrasse we headed for some asian Streetfood which was ok, although I will not rush back for their Sushi.

We went out again just before midnight and ended up at a gay club around the corner, which was very quiet.
I had a lot of fun talking to the very friendly guys running it and we ended up staying there until closing time at 3 pm.

Another long day and night in Berlin

Blipping only my favourite shot from the parade.
