The very hungry caterpillar

This, I suspect, is the culprit that's eating my tomato plants.

Today, I caught him in the act.

Coincidentally, I had just commented on this, which reminded me of the Very Hungry Caterpillar, when I spotted him.

Still didn't have the heart to kill him. The tomatoes are still growing and he's got as much right to eat the plants as I have. Afterall, I don't need the leaves.

A bad morning complete with floods of tears.

This afternoon was better.

And I've made it through another day.
