Minstrel

seems to have quite enjoyed all the chaos in the house the last few days. There's been new indoor landscapes to climb, access to places hitherto inaccessible, and the novelty of eating, drinking and using the litter somewhere different. None of it has fazed him in the slightest, although he didn't like the smell of one of the damp repellent chemicals used. Just after I took this shot, he literally wrinkled his nose in disgust and shot upstairs.

He wasn't too impressed when, after the workman went home I still wouldn't let him into the back room. The man had not left it very safe for a cat! Brian has made it so that he can be in there with supervision now.

Earlier in the day we had issues with the internet going off. We could not last a day in this house, with no WiFi signal! Fortunately, after arranging for an engineer to come, Brian managed to fix it himself, but we are not cancelling the engineer until the workman has done his stuff tomorrow, just in case there's a recurrence!

Home is chaos, and work is too. Lee has unfortunately had to go off to Manchester due to a family emergency, leaving Ahmad - a sick old man, Amir- speaks little English and only just starting to get up to speed with the work, and me to run the shop! I had plans for this weekend and I can see them fading into the ether at the moment...
