Wing Detail

I found this small section of a butterfly wing outside the dining room. I thought it would be a good subject for Tiny Tuesday. Shot on a 55mm macro on a full set of extension tubes. I used the 55 instead of the 105 as the extension tubes gave me about 2x - 3x life size. Lighting was provided by a powerful LED light about 1/2" from the subject, at a very acute angle to bring out the texture.
