Lakeside Minimalism

Dear Diary,

Spent the night at Black Cat. Island, NH last night. Another beautiful cool morning and the lake is nice and quiet at this hour. Things will heat up later, literally and figuratively, as more cousins descent on the beach but for now I had it all to myself as I listened to the birds and watched the fish jump. So peaceful.
