Trainspotting

An unexpected morning pleasure - cycling about with misterft who has some nippy e-bike on trial through his work. It’s the future, it really is. A visit to Jack MacCallum's carvings at Warriston (I didn’t even know they existed), then to the new Mr Eoin coffee place. Nice!
Then off to the Pleasance to meet R&E, McC (again!) and MrT to watch that national treasure Arfurr Smith in Syd, the story of his Dad. A beer afterwards in the courtyard and onward to .. the RSA! A private viewing of David Mach’s latest output.. collages, mostly. Collectible, right? Well, we decide so.
No hanging about, for in a tunnel beneath the EICC there is a show... Trainspotting Live. That’s a show where you definitely don’t want to sit in the front row. Which is unfortunate as the seating is arranged in two long rows along the wall.
