HOOT

I spent some of the morning doing a great upper arm workout - hand winding balls of wool from skeins of yarn and had a really lovely afternoon sitting out at the back of The Black Bear in Whitchurch, Shrops, listening to Casey Greene's jazz group giving a fabulous concert in aid of Cystic Fibrosis.  Having had lots of sax lessons from Casey and played in some of his other groups it was great to see him recently back from Australia and running the Hoot Jazz again.  It was also good to see some of the band members and listeners who I knew. Maybe one day I'll get the sax out of its case again.

The short but heavy downpour with thunder kindly waited until I got home and didn't manage to spoil the  afternoon.
