Farewell Vernazza!

A disappointing end for me to our time in the Cinque Terre. I wasn’t feeling very good, and was dealing with some personal issues, and didn’t feel like taking on the heat. I didn’t want to hold the others back, so I decided to have a quiet day in Vernazza. The rest of them went to Riomaggiore and did what sounded like a grueling uphill hike, as well as the usual lunch and cooling afternoon swim. By the time they returned, I felt well enough to join them for dinner, and Vernazza treated us to a beautiful sunset for our last night before we move on to Milan tomorrow. I have put an extra of Riomaggiore that I took from the boat yesterday, so at least I got a peak at what I missed!
