Water Fountains.

Today started as any other, until our neighbour across the rode collapsed in his garage.  Unfortunately, we didn't hear his son calling us for help.  It was only when we noticed a young woman with a small baby looking frantic, that we realized something was wrong.

She had rushed to help our neighbour's son, and phoned for the paramedics.  They arrived just as we went to help.  In all 3 ambulances turned up.  Sadly, they couldn't save our neighbour and he died of a heart attack, and today was his daughter's birthday too.

He was 92 and had not recovered from his wife's death 9 months ago.  But he was very active for his age, and was often out in his garden.  We will miss seeing him pottering around.

Later in the morning I went with Alexandra, as she took Isabella to see a Paediatric Cardiologist.  She was being checked as their GP had heard a heart murmur, when she had her last vaccination.

She is fine though, just has a very noisy flow to her heart.  A big relief all round for our family, especially Alexandra.

So a day of contrast, a mixture of joy and sadness.

(I also forgot it was my blip anniversary today, 9 years and counting!!)
