A Day Worth Recording

Stocks

If the village stocks were wooden structures for meting out punishment to the dim witted, then surely these count?

Back to work today and to a remarkably small email backlog. Main problem was trying to remember what I was doing before we shut down - especially as I'd been good and tidied my desk [of all the post-it notes reminding me...].

Miserable grey day otherwise - wandered into Morrisons to pick up supplies for the week. On the way we passed these new exercise things arranged around the playing field. Maybe they'll look more enticing when it's not drizzling.

Caitlin has joined us today; S is out with dungeons and dragons; J in London - all change for the 'current' family today! The four of us played Puerto Rico this evening; one of my favourite board games.

M hopes to persuade Caitlin into a game of Twilight Imperium (see a few days ago), and Puerto has a few similar mechanisms.
