Large Red Damselfly

The rain was torrential when I woke up this morning but by lunch time the sun was shining and there was the opportunity to go out for an hour.  Whilst I blipped lots of butterflies last year, this year I've done better with dragon flies but whatever the insect they're all fascinating even if I don't always recognise what they are.  We're going out with friends this evening which we're both looking forward to and then we're hoping for a nice relaxing weekend;  I hope you'll have a good one too.
