Calm before the storm!

A wet night but a very pleasant and warm morning.
We took advantage and went to Horfield Common to the park, so much more that Eda can play on now.
Later we walked across the common to the cafe. A favourite when I was here last September. Hot drinks and a muffin to share but Eda had a meltdown when we cut it up, she wanted one to herself!

The rain came on as we got home for Eda’s lunch. When she had a nap Grace and I took advantage of Boppa’s services as babysitter to go out and do a bit of shopping. Again it was fine and very warm, too warm for a raincoat, who knows what we’ll get tomorrow. Grace’s neighbour is taking the ferry from Portsmouth to Caen, rather them than me if the predicted winds arrive!
