Bedtime Stories

Dear Diary,

Grandpa Bear reads bedtime stories to his two grandcubs.  I just finished this needle felt project.  I made his hassock out of my mother's antique salt cellar.  I turned it into a pin cushion with a bit of vintage fabric and my grandmother's tatting.  I used some of her old wooden spools of thread to hold the books, plate of cookies and his tea cup.  One little cub has fallen asleep on a piece of vintage silk velvet I made into a quilt for him but, of course, there is always one that just can't go to sleep without another cookie and one more story.  "Once upon a time..."
