Wild things.

Headed off to Rushmere country park this morning with Jodie and family. It's the first time Jeff and I have been, Jodie goes from time to time to wear the boys out! Lots of fresh air and lovely walks. As we arrived we were aware of an event going on, I believe it was a fun dog show with lots of craft and food stalls, bit like a summer Christmas market.

We walked into a whole bunch of Beardies and their owners, apparently they all meet up once a month and go for a long walk, the most they've had on one walk was 17 Beardies! I may join the group as Beardies so love hanging out with their own breed. They seemed a friendly bunch of people too.

At various points on the walk are beautiful wood carvings and the boys loved finding the Fairy doors, but the most fun was had on random gates in the middle of nowhere, leading nowhere with the carved sign overhead 'Wild Things'. I thought it quite apt. The extra is the gates and the main is Franky peering through the crack. A Child's imagination is  wonderful and intriguing.

Bit of excitement for us as we saw Greg Rutherford  MBE ( Gold medalist for the long jump at the 2012 London olympics). We didn't intrude on his Sunday family time although Jodie was sorely tempted. He's got muscles on his muscles. Lol

Our one regret was having a hot dog - It was not nice, not good at all!
