Artemis & Apollon marveled at

Love the face of the young visitor and his mam's marvelling, like I did! Artemis and Apollon. These two statues were found at Aptera, Crete... that's just up the hill behind Souda harbour; a wonderful ancient site, what has been excavated in the 90-ies of last century.

I'd visited the Chania museum after many years again and these two treasures and a few more are new to me. So glad I got here today!
In the whole world musea close on Monday, in Greece they do on Tuesday :-)
