Out the window

My kind brother dropped round this afternoon and offered to help rescue my dead SD card. It's invisible to my Mac, my PC and to a phone, and my camera just continues to say 'Card Error!'. On closer inspection I'm pretty sure it's a counterfeit card. I've just about given up hope of retrieving the pictures but if anyone can, he can. 

With 12 days' backlog of apples I was in the kitchen almost all day, stewing and freezing, drying apple rings and making apple leather. Which is not only edible but delicious, but googling it today I discovered that it's possible to mix apple scraps with polyurethane to make 'leather' for waterproof vegan shoes. Maybe next year.
