Reeves Muntjac

The plumber came this morning and fitted a new tap unit, it is the same design as the previous two, but made by a different company; we shall how long this one lasts.

I pottered about indoors during the morning as it was too wet to do anything outside. Then after lunch I tackled my shower room cupboard, which has been a dumping ground for various kitchen things. It took all afternoon, but it is now tidy. There are quite a lot of toiletries, to be used as well as several different shampoo and conditioners. There was also a large black bag of rubbish including half empty nail varnish pots as well as other half used, dried up items.

Due to the weather there has not been a lot of wildlife in the garden, but late this afternoon this male Reeves Muntjac wandered into the garden to look for windfall apples and pears.

The temperature at GMT noon was sixteen degrees Celsius; it has rained on and off all day, resulting in a large puddle outside my front door. I have not checked the natural pond to see if there is any water in it as the grass is far too wet to wander down the orchard.
