Sun

Well as this blipping thing was supposed to improve my photography its not really happening so far as a) have not got to grips with the SLR yet and b) left my pocket digi behind so had to rely on the crappy camera in my Blackberry.

Out in the lanes today came across this representation of the Sun. It is a 2.5 metres (8.2 ft)-wide 14-ton concrete sphere which is the centre piece of the Somerset Space Walk, which is laid out along the Bridgwater & Taunton canal to display a model of the Sun and its planets in their proportionally correct sizes and distances apart. The model is built to a scale of 1:530,000,000, making it slightly more fiddly than an OS map.....

Steady day at work, but still very busy compared to the same time last year. Warmth in office is gradually getting rid of the moisture that the old roof had let in, and the bucket count is down, and hopefully by the end of the weekend will have dried out.

Passed son the earnings of selling his old Wii games on my ebay account, and has now been introduced to the concept of 'management fees' :-). Apparantly we are now about to watch the DVD Brave.....
