The accidental finding

Paint a pot

In Cheltenham, with the young adults with learning difficulties from our Tewkesbury group. A bit of blurring has been used here, to remove identifying marks.

Very relaxing as a party activity, though I'd be useless at it myself, being no good at wielding a brush. The idea is to draw on a pretty picture and write something, first, with marker pen. The paints are then added on, lighter colours first (or is it darker?) and layered. The result is then fired, at which stage the marker pen marks disappear. The finished results usually look very pretty, if made by someone with a grasp of design and illustration.

It seemed fun, but expensive. I might check out the price of the Nailsworth shop, on case it's cheaper. I can imagine taking a different group of people there.
