Life through the lens...

Demoiselle

We said goodbye to the river and the Demoiselles. So lovely to seem them chasing each other around. The water level had risen because of Friday’s rain.

After packing and cleaning we walked to another pub in the village for Sunday lunch.
Superb melt in the mouth roast beef and proper Yorkshires. As well as a dish of vegetables.(Sweed, carrots, cauliflower, and cabbage.) we had a large jug of gravy.
For pudding MrC had apple crumble and custard, and I had Sticky Toffee Pudding and ice cream.A perfect Sunday lunch.
We much prefer this pub. Smaller, cosy, friendly and better food. ( cheaper too)
So in future this will be our local when we are at the caravan.

A very good journey back down the A1M.
Home in 45mins.
Now just have to start on the washing.

Thanks again to BIL for a great few days away.
Looking forward to our next visit!
