South Coast Scribblings

Moving

There is a huge crane lifting concrete sections onto a base of breeze blocks in the site at the end of our garden. It really is massive - and hubby and I went upstairs to get a better view from the bedroom window. There are gaps between each section that they place down. We know nothing about building, so don’t know for sure what their purpose is - we assume it is to support the floor.

Another lovely sunny day - we shall go out for a walk soon.

(We did more than that - we had a lovely lunch out, then had a walk around Slindon - have passed the village so many times, but never been there before. The extra photos show an old ‘Smoking Carriage’ railway carriage that has been thatched (thought this looked best in mono) a photo of the church and a duck on the pond.
