Deep calm

The third day of relentless greyness and mizzle, not a glimmer of light. Not a breath of air either, and Bantry Bay was as still as a millpond. No boats upon the water but plenty of buoys and the pillars mark the quay where a rusty car ferry takes workers across to Whiddy Island.
Deep calm ... as opposed to Dead Calm, now that was a scary film.
