Harley weekend.

Hot, hot, hot!
A glorious Bank holiday Saturday and the start of the Harley Davidson Weekend in the nearby village/town of Baildon.
Our Community Choir started in Baildon nearly four years ago and have been the opening ‘sing’ at the Harley each year since they formed. For Chris and I it has been our second stint on the stage behind the Black Bull pub, the Bingley branch being only 18 months old. The stage is in the shade and I remember last year, even though sunny it was pretty chilly, but not so today.
We really enjoyed it and had a welcome drink afterwards.
We had a wander around the centre to see the bikes being displayed. Chris liked this one the best so I’m using it for my blip. You can see there is another stage in the back ground ready for more music. As we were leaving the Black Bull an Iron Maiden tribute band was tuning up.

Tomorrow there is a big ride out of bikers where some of the roads are closed. It was under threat as the police said they couldn’t support it. Our group, amongst many others, held fund raising events to cover the cost of security marshalling so it could go ahead. Another good day forecast so it should go well but we will be singing again elsewhere!
