Speedy cyclist

I spent an interesting day visiting the London Street Photography Festival and joined a street walk led by Mark Seymour (who ran the street photography workshop in Kolkata which I joined last November).  The area near the Olympic Park in east London where the festival is based proved not to be a great source of street photographs;  although there was some interesting graffiti, there were very few people around (apart from other photographers) to set against the street art. However, it was a very sociable walk with much discussion about styles of photography, subject matter and, inevitably, equipment.

My blip was taken just inside the Olympic Park of one of many cyclists and electric skateboarders who were speeding along the path.

It was a sunny and very hot day.  Having spent some considerable time yesterday walking around the back streets of Bristol in the hot sun and more time today walking around east London, I arrived home pretty exhausted (not helped by the slightly lengthy and devious route I had to travel because there are no trains to London from my part of the world this weekend owing to "engineering works").
