Globe Artichoke

Surrounded by several other tall plants my Globe Artichoke has surpassed itself for height this year and I reckon it must be between 8 and 9 feet tall with 2 stalks and 7 heads and it towers above most of the rest.

I think it is 4 years old now and is certainly a giant member of the thistle family.
