The Nest on the Hose Holder

In our comings and goings of the last few weeks, I actually forgot to put on a picture for August 18th.

We were travelling home on this Sunday afternoon (along with the rest of Michigan), and stopped at the cabins that Lisa's parents used to own and rent out. 5 cabins on Sage Lake, rented out from May through September. 

After they sold the place, the couple that bought it...have let it go. We couldn't even pull into the driveway because of big downed branches, the lawn was not mowed, windows and screens were wide open, and roofs are ready to cave in. Sad to see.

The wasps have taken over the hose holder, and have built a marvelous nest. If we were still renting the place out...it would have been my job to get them out of there.
