Running to Remember

The Hobblers were out today taking part in the Run to Remember to raise funds for PC Andrew Harper's Family and for COPS, the charity which supports the families of police officers killed on duty.  PC Harper's number was 7605, so that was the distance we ran, 7.605k.  The heat of the day had got cracking by the time we left Myrtle Park for our route to the canal, along to Hirst Wood, back along the river and then the canal to the Three Rise Locks where we crossed the bridge in to the town and returned to the park.

The Bliparazzi turned out in force to support us and, although this is not the best photo from my Go-Pro, I like it's quirkiness because it is Blipper Corinthian being filmed taking a blip of me and another Hobbler/Blipper Wilsden Walker.

After a very convivial cuppa and cake at Tarquin's we went our separate ways.  I've been processing photos and venturing out in to the heat (albeit the shade) to oil our two garden seats.
