Coloured fountains in Washington Park

Sunday
A very hot and humid day, so we spent the afternoon at home watching some of the Men’s final of the Western and Southern tennis tournament from Mason, in which surprisingly the Russian Medvedev beat Djokovich! In the evening, we went back downtown to a free open-air performance of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet in Washington Park, by members of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. There were just 5 or 6 performers, so each one played a couple of roles. Given the setting, staging and costumes were very simple, but it was very well done. The park bar was open, so I was forced to have a glass of Prosecco while I watched!
We passed the fountains in another area of the park as we returned to our car
