Boardwalk to the Beach

Supposedly across the widest beach in Europe. We are back in Figueira da Foz for our annual conference, which starts tomorrow, so Mike and I have had a relaxed time walking on the beach and eating non-Alentejano food. Feels disloyal to say so, but thoroughly enjoying it, including the low temperatures, 18C this evening, so good for walking. (But look at the ISO, I hardly ever go above 100 in the Alentejo, but this felt so dim...)

Please forgive scant commenting the next days, will try to look, but time will be scarce.

Just saw this on Wabi Sabi by Steve Curry, with accompanying photos, loved it.

Gratefuls:
- helping the Padre move the first lot of books to his new abode
- safety on the roads, and a good chauffeur
- being footloose and fancy free for a day, love it
