Be Open To Change......

I openly state, from the start of todays post, that these photos were taken yesterday.  There was so much to my visit to Flight 93, that I have broken them down to the event, and the afterwards.....
The main blip is a picture of a tribute made to the Field of Honor.  I hope you can read it as it sums up the whole event.  The crash was in a barren, strip-coal mining field, left barren, ugly,  rapedand ravaged.  Nothing grew there, no wild life was there, no birds, the water was fowled.

Through the efforts of the National Park system, slowly, the area is returning to health.  Thousands of trees have been planted in concentric rows to signify sound coming from the Whispering Tower.  The fields have been planted with natural wild flowers, and other vegetation that grew before the mining.  The Park has bee keepers bring in bees to pollinate the flowers, which encourages the birds to return and sing (you can hear them now) the trees provide places for nesting, the water is running clear and clean again, the Canadian Geese have returned to hatch their goslings.....
The photos in the extras are of the things I just wrote about.  I wanted to leave this topic and event on a positive note of hope, of the freedom we share, and the bravery of the people on Flight 93.   The Memorial Park is of tomorrow, of good, that can come out of terrible tragedy and adversity, that there is hope for today, and tomorrow.......
All you have to do is look for it.
Thank you for indulging my breech of protocol.
