Regular DellCon'er T has booked in this weekend for a conventional holiday, but scheduling in some gaming was a natural essential, so we gathered a few locals and while the ladies played a couple of lighter games in the sun, the men gathered indoors around the political battle for Afghanistan.

(This sounds embarrassingly stereotypical - which is just so, so wrong for this group of people.) 

Military tactical (albeit hidden by abstraction) is not my usual type of game but I was drafted in to make up the minimum three.  I suspect the others were a little bemused that I won.
