Heritage Museum

Today we drove up to South East London to see friends and also visit the Salvation Army Heritage Museum in William Booth College in Camberwell. We parked in friend Eileen's drive and took the train to Denmark Hill.

The museum was informative and we learnt some new things. We had an hour and then it was time to walk to a meeting point for our next engagement which was lunch at a restaurant called The Real Greek in Dulwich with Eileen's group of friends. I'd visited last year, but it was G's first time and we all had a fantastic meal and catch up.

A walk through Dulwich Park followed before we went over to Forest Hill to have some prosecco at Verna's house. She has amazing views of London from her street.

I have to admit I got quite tired but managed the entire day, even staying awake in the car all the way home!! It was too late to think about blipping though, so posting this on the last day of August.
