Day 11

Backblip

We had no signal so am posting this a day late. We left Vent and got up high via two chairlifts, and walked around the balcony route to the Vernagt hut. It was lovely walk, not taxing in any way except for some slightly scary bits where the very narrow path sloped towards the drop alarmingly!

Our last night in a hut...

The photo shows yesterday's descent from the col in the centre down to the valley, and I'm finding it hard to get my head around the fact that we actually did it!
