Osso

Megan and Angus arrive at Carluke. I collect them while Claire concludes her walk round the woods with my mum.

Mum’s exhausted. Angus is sleep deprived. I head off for a nap too. But we’re all raring to go out to Osso for a slap-up food fest.

I’m driving, so water for me. The rest of the family wire into cocktails for starters. The food is good - there’s a wide choice, including vegetarian options, and the helpings are sizes just right.

By the time we get home, we’re all ready for bed. Again.
