Dragonfly

There were quite a few dragonflies at the little lake on the golf course behind our house......there were also large frogs jumping away from the edges as we walked by......they were too fast to get a photo. Doesn't this Dragonfly have an unusual mouth? Layers of lips? Strange?

I spent a few hours with the grandsons today.....we put one  of the boys on a plane to Whittier College in Southern California today.....took the other to an interview in downtown Portland.....he is a bit stressed about not having a car or a job....he is the recent college graduate and made the decision to travel Europe before looking for a job.....he is going to be okay, but the uncertainty is difficult for him.
