Out to meet the son at Artisan Roast in Broughton St and then I headed up Calton Hill. The wind was bringing in a smirr but it was fine to stand there and face it; there was an artwork in the shape of an audio installation by James Richards - Migratory Motor Complex. Shelter from the wind; I felt much uplifted.
And so onward eventually to the Cameo to see Pedro Almodovar’s latest, Pain and Glory, which naturally enough, I liked very much indeed.
And then the Commons voted to wrest control of the parliamentary agenda from the Government. Blimey. And Boris kicked 21 Tory rebels out his party, including luminaries like Ken Clarke, Justine Greening, Rory Stewart, Hammond, Gauke, Letwin, Grieve and even fatty Soames! It’s all kicking off.
