The big head

Having a bit of a free day, in that nothing was planned, and the SK’s elderly friend had to cancel, we took ourselves off to the Gallery of Modern Art Two to see their collage exhibition. The first survey exhibition of collage ever to take place anywhere in the world, it modestly proclaims. Och, we’re good. Best small country in the wirruld as Jack McConnell proclaimed, elbowing New Zealand aside.
And later that collage stuff came in handy as we were at an arty talk - David Mach, the world famous Methil boy being interviewed by Phill Jupitus, the equally famous lad from Pittenweem. And it was quite a hoot, so it was.
On to the Diggery Dogs to meet the crew including big lads. Big John. Big Phil. I don’t think women do that, calling certain pals “big” anything. Not flattering perhaps. Wee Jeannie I guess. And that may be a habit that’s dying out. What others? There’s a mad Mike in the Diggers too. And smelly postie, but he’s not a pal.
