North Kerry Day 3

The traditional diet for day 3 of the pattern day in Ballyheigue is crubeens - pigs' trotters! We beat a hasty retreat and ventured upwards towards Ballybunion and round down to Listowel and Tralee. A great few days - nine wells bagged, a mega pattern day observed, several close cattle encounters (including one with a large black bull), and an abbey and a round tower also perused. This round tower is at Rattoo and dates from the 10C and has recently been restored but is currently shut off to the public.
A lot of blogging and photo editing beckons! And an early night.
