Swallow chase

I've been fascinated - and entertained - by the family of young swallows that recently fledged here at C & G's place.

Whilst it's true that they've left a mess around the place, it's impossible not to feel more joy than anger watching them as they engage in regular games of chase around the house and garden. They'll sit and chatter for a few minutes then they're up and gone. They might do a few circuits of the house or they might fly further afield for a while, but they always return for a rest and another chatter before repeating it all over again. try as I may, I haven't been quick enough to capture a clear shot of one of them in full flight. Maybe tomorrow - or maybe I'll just sit and watch them :)
